Wondering when you'll receive your ACH transfer? Credit card batches that are created before 9:30 p.m. EST are deposited into your bank account the next business day. However, for most restaurants, service hours extend past 9:30 p.m. EST and therefore don't meet this deadline. This results in an additional business day being added to the deposit time. If you would like to receive these funds sooner, consider learning more about Instant Deposit here. Weekend delays and first-time deposits made on a Thursday without using manual batching are typically processed for deposit on Monday. Additionally, first-time deposits or newly linked bank accounts may experience slight delays.
It is recommended to follow the automatic batch processing schedule as much as possible to ensure that credit card transactions are efficiently processed with minimal manual intervention, and are deposited into your business account in a timely manner. If deposits are delayed, check for reasons such as weekends, public holidays, or incorrect batching times. You can also contact Customer Care for further support such as requesting your deposit's Trace ID before contacting your bank for further assistance.
If the batch is created before 9:30 p.m. EST, the batching schedule is as follows:

Toast is configured to automatically capture one batch every day at 4 a.m. In this case, and for any manual batches created after 9:30 p.m. ET, the batching schedule is as follows:

If you find you need to adjust your automatic batch schedule, Customer Care can assist you. Batch times can only occur between 12 AM and 12 PM.
The 4 a.m. automatic batch will close out checks that are left open but paid.
Note: A manual batch can be conducted by selecting Capture during Close Out Day.
Although transactions will be processed based on the deposit schedule described above, we are unable to guarantee when it will be credited to your account. We highly recommend that you contact your bank to find more information.

Rejected Deposit
Here are some common reasons why a deposit might be rejected and what you can do about it:
- The bank account is closed or frozen. This means your bank rejected the deposit. You'll need to contact your bank directly to resolve this.
- Your bank account change isn't complete. A common reason for this is not providing a voided check, which is the final step to activate a new account with us. Please check for any pending messages or steps from our U.S. Account Operations team that you may have missed.
